A start on Spring drawings
Even though there isn't much green yet I started a green drawing. This photo was taken last May. I digitally manipulated this photo to bring out more contrast and a greater sense of depth. A "find edges" filter produced the line image that I did the basic drawing from.
A daughter of the Middle West, I grew up on my parents farm on the Minnesota-Iowa stateline with my five brothers. I always had a strong interest in both books and art.
At the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse I graduated with a B.S. in Art Education and never taught. Instead, I held a variety of low paying jobs, went to technical school for a printing diploma and worked in the printing industry for several years. Now I am able to spend more time on my drawings and books.
